      Midori's book is a must-have for bondage beginners and collectors of beautiful rope bondage art. The instructions are surprisingly simple and easy to follow, and while I was slightly disappointed by the small number of diagrams and the lack of fancier techniques, I still think this is an excellent, high-quality book that's worth buying just so you can look at it.

      The Seductive Art of Japanese Bondage encompasses a lot in a very clear, easy to understand manner. It's very basic and will undoubtedly appeal to the beginner rope enthusiast and be a bit too simple for the experienced. Terrific job covering all the fundamentals from the top and the bottom point of view without going too deep or leaving you feeling like you missed something. A GREAT beginner book!

      A great book if you've seen or heard of Japanese bondage but don't know how to begin performing it. Nicely illustrated and explanatory, but it's definitely a beginner's book and doesn't go into advanced techniques and positions.

      This book gave me a lot of wonderful ideas but it was not a good starting place. I had a difficult time understanding the knots at first. After taking a basic bondage course, however, this book was AWESOME! It has many well-worn edges and I've loaned it to all my friends.
