Summary:
Disappointing is the word we would use to describe these mints. My wife liked the taste, but at no point in time did they work on numbing her throat. If, however, the goal was to make her mouth numb, they worked perfectly. I would not get the Good Head Oral Sex Mints again and would not suggest them to others.
Best use:
Doc Johnson's Good Head mints are used to help couples better their oral sex experience. Useful for foreplay or a nice anytime surprise for him, this product is definitely marketed towards couples. The oral analgesic in the mints claims to numb the throat allowing for deep throating with less discomfort, which in turn creates the perfect blowjob.
These mints are sugar free, so there is no need to worry if you are diabetic.
Active ingredient: 10 mg of Benzocaine
Inactive ingredients: Calcium Stearate, Flavor (Aroma), Mentha Peperita (Peppermint Oil), Acesulfame Potassium, Silicon Dioxide, Sorbitol, Stearic Acid, and Sucralose.
Though I have never heard of an outright allergy to benzocaine, many people can be sensitive to it, and some may be less affected by it than others. If you find yourself to be sensitive to benzocaine, the numbness may spread further and last longer than usual, and you should not continue to use the mints.

- –Darklyvan's opinion
- These somewhat chalky mints have a diameter of 1.25 cm and a thickness of 0.7 cm. They dissolve fairly rapidly and do not leave a chalky residue behind. At first, within a few seconds, my tongue got tingly. Then numbness set in. It is not exactly an enjoyable experience in my opinion, but my wife likes them for when her tongue ring is causing irritation in her mouth.

Taste / Aroma
- –Darklyvan's opinion
- We ordered the spearmint flavored Good Head mints. They did indeed taste like a good spearmint gum, even if they had a somewhat medicinal aftertaste. My wife and I both like the taste of mint, and therefore we found these to be delightful.
The scent given off by these mints is not very strong. As such, I would not suggest that you try to use these to cover bad breath.

Performance
- –Darklyvan's opinion
- The perfect blowjob? Not even close to it in my opinion. These mints fell short in more ways than one. The first issue we had was that the mints managed to numb my wife's mouth, but it never reached her throat at the recommended dosage. So, deep throating was no easier for her than usual. I was still only able to get about half of my cock in her mouth without her gagging. The second issue we had was that even after upping the dosage to four mints, so that her throat was numb, the numbness wore off in a few short minutes. Though it is hard to keep track of time during a good blowjob, I would estimate that the anesthetic lasted for approximately five minutes.

- –Darklyvan's opinion
- Good Head Mints come as a green cardboard insert around a little green tin. The cardboard had the name on the front inside the outline of a penis. In no way is this part of the packaging discreet even with the fancy scrolling and picture of spearmint leaves. Even the little tin has an outline of a penis. On the back, you can find the instructions for use.
Though not discreetly labeled, it is small enough to fit in a pocket or hide away in a sock drawer. It is very similar in style to other mints that come in tins. Compact and portable, these mints travel well.

Special Features
- –Darklyvan's opinion
- The only special feature of this product would be the numbing sensation of the oral anesthetic Benzocaine.
