Kiki DeLovely's "Heartfirst" follows a new couple who create their own private, headlong universe in between the sheets. In "Skin Deep," Anna Watson tells the story of a femme who gets to the bottom of her lover's disappearing acts. This lovely book is full of a variety of stories detailing hot sex with a variety of characters: femmes, butches, genderqueers, queers, transmen, masters, slaves, and more. It's a must read for anyone who is into that genre of erotica. I loved this book!!
Kathleen Warnock had it right when she wrote in her introduction,
"There are no prerequisites for enjoying this book. There will be no judgement, no identity checks, no right or wrong side of the column, no test afterward, no grades. Rather, you might want to pretend it's the first beautiful day of summer and no matter what comes next, you're walking outside and it's warm and sunny out and you feel great in your own skin."
Want to curl up with a hot new queer every night? How about twenty? This book will take you down those dark paths and introduce you to girls and dykes (and everything in between) that will make your mind race and your clit pulse. The editor and the authors should be proud because they have really outdone themselves with this one.
The best edition yet in an always exemplary series, seasoned by some of the hottest erotic writing that any genre could provide.
The Best Lesbian Erotica 2012 is a collection of 22 lesbian-themed stories. I found the vast majority of these stories to be well written and very arousing. Some of them do include men which may be a negative for some. Overall I am very happy I got to read this one.
I truly enjoyed all the kink in this edition, being kinky myself. I'm hazarding a guess there's so much kink in this one because Sinclair is indeed kinky. (and I love that.) Overall, I think Sinclair picked some hot, hot, HOT stories, and I'm aching for 2013's edition!
I was extremely disappointed if the subject matter, and if you are anything like me who reads this sort of things regularly, don't waste your money on this. For those with fetishes, it would be a good investment.
In the books defense I am not a lesbian. I love the female form and personality. I guess I didn't know what I was getting into.
