I like to think of myself as a discriminating and thoughtful sex toy consumer. The toys themselves are just as important as the mental worlds and contexts in which they are used. John Keats might have it otherwise, but I think there is room in life for sensation *and* thoughts.
I'm a member of Seattle's sex positive community, and have been part of everything from the Seattle Erotic Art Festival to its Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, as well as participated in bondage workshops and erotic art. I wear many, many hats in my personal life.
Sex toys are one of my favorite ways to add interest to both solo and partner play. They can set a "scene" or give new sensations. I began experimenting with sex toys at the ripe age of 15 and haven't looked back.
