Wow, what an unexpected & lovely surprise it was to find your message on my wall! I was getting frustrated with my Internet connectivity the last several days. I haven't been able to stay on top of all my discussions as much as I like to & then I couldn't even post new ones! I saw my previous ones disappear under the surge in duplicate & nonsense posts & was getting a little discouraged, so I can't tell you how perfect your timing is with that compliment! You truly made my day and I am also humbled that some topics have made it to your 'Round Table Discussions" Your place sounds like the perfect setup for a rewarding time with friends. You know you have real connections with them when all the crazy nonsense is stripped away, the distractions of events & outings, and you can sit down & talk over good food & drink! I love your description & wish I lived near you & could weasel an invite!

BTW, I checked out your photography site & commented on it in the thread where you left the link. But, let me tell you personally, that those are some beautiful photos, (and your price is a STEAL, just saying)! I love the fly on the wall, candid feeling, you must have worked really hard & have a gift for getting people to relax &/or ignore the camera, because they don't look staged or posed. I really liked the bride & her horse since I'm a sucker for animals. And, artistically speaking, you have a good eye for composition, too!

I hope you aren't disappointed in some of the discussions I have posted, (& still do from time to time), about silly stuff! Unfortunately, they can get more responses than the deeper ones, but I understand people don't always want to think too hard. Besides, you never know where the comments can go, some people respond with a comment that just elevates the whole discussion!

One of the other people I think you would like, if you haven't noticed her yet, is bratcat. She is very thoughtful & a genuinely sensitive, kind person! She has started to post discussions & they have been really interesting; I think you'd like them. You know, I just started this posting business last month & didn't realize that I could "bump" discussions later, if they weren't getting noticed, (it happens because I sometimes post at odd hours). Anyway, I have been going back & re-reading the early ones where I asked some of my better questions. Today, I decided they need a new airing & am trying to get them some time between the "do you eat cheese" questions

Thank you so much! I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies and minors in Queer Studies and Human Development. It's definitely not a popular combination. Most people give me blank stares when I tell them what I studied. I hope your husband enjoys his Filet Mignon. I'm pretty jealous, all I get tonight is leftovers as I finish moving back into my parents house.
