Hey Tigger&Kanga---in case you didn't see my response on the We-Vibe 3 review:
Tigger&Kanga---the remote is actually not awkward at all. It's nicely designed to be just a bit bigger than your thumb, and you press the button with your thumb. There are pictures on the product page so I didn't want to add a bunch of redundant photos, but it's basically a gentle button-press, there's no seam for water to get in or anything.
As far as range and finickyness, it's actually pretty good when you don't have clothes on, and just being "above the waist" and pointing toward the We-Vibe works just fine. It's excellent at sex, because that's what it's designed for.
It does start to get finicky *if you put clothes on,* and then you have about 15 degrees of play in both directions (30 deg total) from where you're pointing straight at the nose of the vibe. I really didn't think it was a problem, given that it wasn't designed for use with clothes on.
