Crop - Crop top feather - view #1When the crop top arrived I was all excited. But after the first use, it became a cute laugh. And with subsequent uses, it really lost it's appeal. The entire interchangeable system is a wonderful idea, but this one piece needs some work to be worth it.

Feather ticklers are great for partner play. The Crop Top Feather is non-threatening, soft and beautiful. It can be used both on its own, and as part of the interchangeable system. This item could be used by anyone. Both beginners, as well as advanced users, can find the versatility of this system to be an advantage.

  • Design / Craftsmanship / Size / Material / Features:

    The Crop Top Feather is relatively small. The entire length is about 8 inches. The handle has the feeling of plastic (it doesn't specify the actual material), and is about 3 inches long. The dark rich colored feathers make up the rest of the length. The feathers are very soft and light. The down side is that the big feathers are not secured very well, and can fall out easily. The small wispy pieces of the feathers can leave stray fluff on you as you run the crop across your body. I tried shaking it out, to see if I could get all the loose ones to simply drop out, so I could enjoy the rest of the Crop Top. Unfortunately, I still had tiny pieces everywhere when I used it again. I'm not too sure what the life time of this piece will be with all it's shedding. But after multiple uses, it still has more then enough feathers to serve its purpose.

  • Performance:

    The Crop Top Feather is very light, effectively tickles, and enhances foreplay. Using just the Crop Top without the Crop Top System makes for closer contact with your partner. Hand held, the tickler felt easy to control and was very intimate. Twisting the Crop Top back and forth between my fingers seemed to create the most stimulation. At one point I actually held the plastic part with my teeth, which was a lot of fun as well.

  • Care and Maintenance:

    I have kept the Crop Top Feather in the packaging it came in, to keep it safe in my nightstand. There isn't too much in the way of care needed; only keep it dry, and in a place where the feathers won't be crushed.

  • Packaging:

    The box is small, and shows the Crop Top through a clear front panel. The sides show the Crop Top System, and the Mini Crop Top System, both of which the Crop Top Feather is compatible with. The back has photos of all the other interchangeable pieces for the Crop Top System, and a pretty lady holding the crop and another top. The box itself is sturdy cardboard. It is easy to use the original packaging to protect your Crop Top Feather while stored.

  • Personal comments:

    Keep a vacuum handy. This one leaves fuzzy, furry feathers everywhere!

  • Experience:

    The feather loss is annoying with this product. Two of the large feathers fell out with the first use. Granted, we did make the most of it by tickling lips with the larger lost feathers. The small feathers are problematic, and getting them out of the bed afterward is a pain in the neck.

    My experiences with the toy; it performs as expected, but overall it's a touch too soft for me. Sensitive users will find the most pleasure out of this one. I'm not overly sensitive, but the Crop Top Feather was still enjoyable to play with, up until Hubby ate a feather fluff. Then it became comical.
