Best use:
The La Tranquila is meant for internal vaginal stimulation, or possibly external use for massage. It can be used for thrusting or g-spot massage, and gives excellent pressure. This toy is best used alone, unless your partner is willing to spend some time learning how to use it without hurting you. Because it does not have a pointed tip and because it is so smooth, I have had no issues with pain even if I get a little too rough - but this toy is stone, and is literally hard as a rock, so you should use caution if you know you have a sensitive cervix.This toy does not have an adequately flared base and is very smooth, so you should not use it for anal penetration.

Stone is a unique sex toy material. It is cool and smooth to the touch, has no smell or taste, and does not feel realistic inside but it does have an oddly natural texture. It feels distinctly different to glass even though the toy is so smooth, and it could easily be used for temperature play. Since stone is so firm it really adds to the experience, and I found this toy to be excellent for light g-spot stimulation. This toy is completely smooth, so it could appeal to any user, but the size is a bit advanced.

This toy has a simple, streamlined design, wherein the tip is a bit larger than the shaft. The toy is not tapered at the tip, and it is a bit thick overall so it may be hard to approach for beginners, but I believe it would be fine for most people if they use enough lube. It is supposed to be a standard thrusting toy, and it worked well for me. It even hit my g-spot due to the lovely design and the firmness of the material. It does not look realistic, but each toy has a unique and beautiful marbling pattern on it, making it look truly like a work of art.
It makes no noise in use, and is discreet in that you could hide it just about anywhere. Even if you keep the tin, you can take the sticker off and nobody would be the wiser about what's inside. The La Tranquila may be a bit large for travel, unless you packed it in your checked baggage, but there are no mechanical parts to confuse security. Performance:
La Tranquila is a simple toy. It is not harness compatible and comes without a suction cup, but it performs beautifully. The firmness of the material combined with the large, rounded tip makes it perfect for hitting your g-spot and giving it firm pressure, by thrusting or any other way you like it. It's great for temperature play, and will hold whatever temperature you wish for a very, very long time.
I did not find anything about this toy that was bad, in use. The only thing I think could be perceived as bad, is that it's a hard material and it really requires you to know your body. -
Care and Maintenance:
This toy is surprisingly easy to take care of! I found it a bit difficult to get information on stone as a sex toy material, but it can be cleaned in much the same ways as glass or steel. You could boil it, dishwasher clean it with no soap, use a 10% bleach solution, toy cleaner or toy wipes. I opt for toy wipes, and the toy is extremely easy to clean with them. Because the toy is so smooth, it's very easy to clean. Nothing sticks to it, and a few quick wipes get the job done.
Stone, as a sex toy material, is compatible with water and silicone based lubes. However, this toy has a smooth lacquer-like coating over it, and oil may damage the coating. If you wish to test out a lube for compatibility, put a small bit of lube on the base, leave it for a while, and wipe it off- you should be able to tell if the coating has dulled at all.
This toy came with a very nice storage tin, and this is what I keep it in. The toy is very hard and very heavy, so it's important to me that it doesn't roll around and knock into my other toys. Stone would most likely trump the toughness of glass, plastic, and other toy materials so keeping it in the tin ensures it stays in one place. -
Packaging:
The toy is packaged in a very nice tin, with a satiny cushion in the bottom of the tin and a layer of styrofoam on top. The tin is not extravagant, but it is also not cheap at all and so it could easily be used for gift giving. I did not find any documentation in the packaging, but the toy is simple enough that not much is needed. The box can be used for storage, and if you plan to discard it you should recycle it because it is made out of metal.

I honestly love this toy. I got it and my toy was even more beautiful than the toy the site has on display. I just want to let it sit out and I want to fondle it all day. It's smooth, but the stone has a subtle texture when it's in use, and although it may be odd to say it, it seems as though it just feels more natural or organic in use, even though logically it shouldn't feel much different than glass.
The subtle texture is something I noticed most with thrusting, it feels smooth and slick, and it slides well, but it just has a very different feel than glass. It hit my g-spot perfectly and the weight of the toy is outstanding - it made me feel very full, without stretching or hurting me.
Stone is a GREAT sex toy material and everyone should own one of these toys. They're very well made, smooth, beautiful, and each one is a unique piece of art. This is definitely replacing glass as my favorite hard toy material.
