A sturdy 17" link chain permanently connects the two cuffs with pivoting fasteners, allowing for a reasonably normal walking stride while still making quick movements difficult. Each cuff has a separate lock, but both can be unlocked with either of the included keys. Cuffs can be adjusted from 7" circumference up to 11".
