Best use:
This Doc Johnson masturbation sleeve is for larger than average men. The interna1 depth is very close to 7", with a width of close to 3". The material is thick and strong enough making this an ideal candidate for hands free thrusting. I prefer to use my hands with a sleeve, so I did not test it out by wedging it between cushions or the bed mattress, as many men have suggested with other sleeves.Stimulation is consistent along the shaft and head of the penis. I would prefer a little more stimulation of the head. You can manually do this, but a bit less girth at the open ended sleeve would have been nice. Also, because there is so much stretch to the sleeve, you can have your head pop out as often (or not) as you want, and this will provide more stimulation to the head.
Because this sleeve is open on both ends, there is no suction, at least that I felt. I myself have not tried this trick, but some members of the EF community have recommended adding a condom to the ouside of the sleeve to add some suction. It does provide the opportunity for your partner, or yourself, to have more control of the stimulation. Personally, I like to do less work and let the sleeve take over for me!

Material / Texture:
The material is UR3, rated 2/10 on the EF safety scale. The UR3 is extremely porous and should never be shared. I recommend using a condom, even when you are the only user to prevent possible infections. UR3 attracts dirt and bacteria which can hide in all the hidden nooks and crannies of the sleeve.
The sleeve arrives coated with a powdery substance that must be completely washed away before use. For future uses, you need to wash both before and after use. When storing for the next use it is mandatory that the sleeve be clean, dry and dusted with cornstarch (no substitutes) to prevent the sleeve from becoming sticky and causing surface damage.
I like the feel of the UR3. It is not the real thing, but comes pretty close. Soaking it in a bowl of hot (but not so hot that you burn yourself) water for several minutes before use adds to the natural feeling. Lubrication is necessary and only water based lube is safe. The material is latex free, but does contain PVC and silicone.
The UR3 is thick, soft and dense. It has stretch and the flexibility to return to shape after use. There is a faint, rather pleasant odor to the sleeve which does not distract from usage.
The internal canal is made up of evenly spaced circular ribs. Good stimulation can be felt the length of the shaft. At the head, I would prefer a bit of tightening and some different/more stimulation. You can help this along manually by using a firmer grip, and/or playing with the head by forcing it to pop out.

Experience:
My review would not be complete without mentioning the Mrs. She is doing well, thank you all for asking.
