Well, the question just about says it all. And let's be clear that we're talking about other people that aren't your significant other or some other consenting party (e.g. someone that you're watching porn with in the first place).

I'll add that the idea for this question comes courtesy of my old college roommate who would lie in bed watching porn while I wrote papers. He didn't even try to hide it (to the contrary, he'd proudly announce what he was doing). At least he wore headphones...

I've never watched porn- but I have been looking up graphic images and such before. Hell, I was going through shibari tutorials in class one day. I try to make sure that no one can see my screen- but to be honest, as long as everyone around is of age- I don't care that much.

I do not watch pornography aside from if I'm watching it with a lover, but if I were to watch it with someone else in the room, I wouldn't see any reason to hide it. I wouldn't shove it in their face though, either, that's unnecessary.

My roommates and I are really open about things, I have no shame in looking at porn or updating my porn blog with them in the room. I do prefer to be alone if that's what I'm SOLELY doing though, but I almost always look at drawn porn anyways so I can always just say HEY IT'S ART if someone bugs me.

I was doing research on pornography a couple years back and would watch clips and pull up photos while my roommate was around. I didn't try to hide it but we had a laugh when I yelled "Its for science!".

It's hard to get away from it if you're on tumblr.

But if the person(s) in the room expressed their concerns with me doing it, I would happily never watch or look at porn around them again.
