Heh heh...no, but I've had close calls. One time I had just taken my gag out and was going to put it away when I got distracted and put it on my desk and forgot about it. So I open my door, my mom comes in and bugs me about something, and leans over to see what I'm doing on the computer. Somehow she didn't notice the gag that was about 6 inches below her.

All of my roommates eventually found out, but I feel like it was for the better. They text or Facebook me all the time saying "Don't tell anyone, but I was wondering if you could tell me about ____". I'm always glad to help!

My parents have seen my extensive toy collection and my latex clothing and my "questionable" books. It never really came up in conversation. Though my mom loves to poke fun of me for my female sexuality books that revolve around stripping.

Yes. It has happened to me. A friend was staying over so we could work on a project for school. I was taking a shower and she asked if she could borrow something (pjs or something like that). I told her where to look and I guess she misheard because when I came back in the room, she had this astonished look on her face. I haven't yet and there are some I know I could never tell. Those people are immediate family unfortunately. Some people just don't understand how BDSM can really be. Instead they see it as abuse or something shameful. It's annoying really. I'd love to be completely open at all times but society just isn't ready yet.
