Don't know how many of you watch that, but I just caught the latest episode tonight and an informant was a Dominatrix who had her own dungeon. They showed some men in fetish gear and getting flogged. The woman also mentioned she flogged others and ran bondage parties.

I don't watch the show, but I'm curious as to if they showed in a positive, negative, or neutral light.

Since I'm new to the BDSM scene I thought it portrayed it rather well. She was a businesswoman and they just showed a little bit of what goes on behind the doors in her dungeon. I just liked that they mentioned the bondage parties and the flogging.

When talking with another long-time member in the lifestyle though, it seems like it wasn't such a good portrayal. The only thing I could point out was that the rooms were dark and the whole place had a gloomy look to it.

That's why I posted here so I can get a better idea of what was amiss or mishandled.
