Does your partner play?

Contributor: Sparowfang Sparowfang 11/03/2012

I'm currently unable to convince hubby to play with me although I have a strong desire to be dominated. I've tried talking and showing videos, books, toys, blah blah blah you name it. He's not interested. So I'm curious, does your partner live your lifestyle as well?

I'm not sure that I'd call it a lifestyle, but we do regularly engage in kinky play.

I have convinced my girlfriend. Most of the things she is hesitant about are loud playing (like spanking, paddles, etc.) because we both live at home. But once we move out I think almost everything will be fair game.

Sometimes, but he is very limited in what he will do to me.

Yes, in fact he tends to like things rougher than me so I am usually the one who limits what we do.

my partner is my Mistress. Wwe are actively involved in the lifestyle and the BDSM community and Wwe maintain a (basically) 24/7 D/s relationship.

I guess that I can consider myself fortunate, but I'm currently in a relationship where on of our bases is sexual exploration. Although I'm not the most experienced in play, I have a bit more than my partner and we continue to explore it.

I've decided that all my partners have to be kinky... it's just something that I can't live without. For me, it's better than sex.

My husband prefers that I be the Domme because he likes not having to do all the work, and I think he does enjoy being restrained. That said, he's not into impact play, (and I very much am), so that limits my options somewhat. I identify as a switch, and hubby will let me be the sub at times, but seems to expect an even trade in the number of Domme/sub sessions whenever possible. He doesn't self-identify as BDSM, as I do, but he seems to really enjoy playing with the toys to a certain limited degree.

Occasionally when the mood strikes him I can get him to join in with the more "extreme" stuff. Generally, he's fine with normal toys/play, but sometimes a girl just needs to be submissive in the bedroom.

My boyfriend and I are both really up for trying things that the other wants. We usually switch around being dom/sub and it's good for everyone.

My wife and I are also both switches. She's not into playing quite as much as I am, but I enjoy it (and HER) so much that even if we only play once or twice a month, it's enough to be satisfying.

It started out as something he would do for me, because I liked it, and now he's just as into it!

I don't date people who aren't into bdsm because I need it to be happy. I just am not sexually satisfied without it.

He is interested but we choose to only do bsdm on occasion so we don't upset the balance of our relationship.

Only sometimes, which is okay. I appreciate that he does it for me, since I am more into it than he is (he is vanilla).

Both of my guys play with me but in opposite directions. Sigel is usually dominant and Arch is usually submissive though he is a switch like me.

HA! Your relationship reminds me of the relationship between Arch and myself. It's like, "Swat, swat, bad girl! Now do me..."
