Underage partners and bestiality are ethical issues. There's a difference between "it's a limit because it's illegal/wrong" and "it's a limit because I'm uncomfortable or don't like it." I don't think children or animals ought to be on the same poll as a bunch of legit BDSM activities, even though they are frequently listed as limits.

Guns, real knives, and breathplay are in my personal zone of "too dangerous for me to enjoy."

Agreed, and I find it really disturbing that 199 people voted on this poll so far, but only 163 voted underage partners as a no-no. I really hope they just misunderstood and meant people younger than them but still of legal age.

One of my l hard limits that most view as normal is degradation/humiliatio n. I have a smart mouth but am generally a good girl and the above is bad for my self esteem. We also are monogamous. Sex and BDSM both are too much based in trust for us to have others involved.

Most of that list is off limits for me. I'm open to a lot of things, but many of the things you listed I wouldn't even be willing to discuss with a trusted partner. Medical play I might consider if my husband was really interested, but I don't think I'd go there of my own volition.

Underage partners and animals isn't just a hard limit, it is -illegal- and it is engaging with a thing that cannot consent.

I'm not into any bathroom stuff, grosses me out.

Medical play is out for me too in most situations, I'm terrified of needles.

Needles, oh sweet jesus needles. Also animals, children and scat. Fun fact, golden showers came off my limit list recently now that I have a partner who loves it. I'm indifferent, but I do enjoy the power play that comes with it (and he just looks so damn happy when I pee on him!)
