How often (if ever) do you have to use a safe word?

I have never actually had to use the safe word. I tend to want to keep going when Master knows that we have already gone far enough. It is only later when I look back that I realise he was right and that any more would have been too much. Which is a great way to be. I just wish I could be more aware of it myself, too.
