to leave a bruise ot not to leave a bruise

If you are into flogging, spanking, canning, or any other impact play...do you like it's ok to leave those deep dark bruises that last for weeks or to do it a bit less intense.

I love bruises, I love being bruised! I love bruises that last for days, weeks, months if at all possible. Too bad I almost never bruise.

I love 'em. I don't bruise or mark easily at ALL. I used to, maybe because I improved my diet?

My current partner doesn't really play that hard. I love bruises and marks...especially the kind where you see the biter's dental record

I'd say no the bruises... I know someone who had an intervention on account of friends thought she was being abused.

I was just thinking about that as I posted, actually. That's kind of scary; fingers always point to men and make them out to be abusive even if it was sensual. Stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason, so I can't blame the interveners.

Good point. I always enjoy your posts, Piratess.

bruises could lead to trouble, so no.

I love to play rough, but not that rough. I don't mind the occasional bruise on my bottom or my breast, but certainly not a deep purple one. My husband would be sick and beside himself if he left a mark on me like that, even if he didn't mean too. He'd likely be afraid to touch me ever again. Besides, I would never want anyone to get the wrong impression, that my husband would beat me or something of the like.

I don't mind him reddening my bottom and leaving it to sting for a bit! I like the redness that stays for a while after we are done playing.

I love bruises. I'm actually disappointed when I don't get them. I've gotten more severe/harsh left overs other than bruises too.. it really all depends on the people involved and their comfort level. If my family or friends ask where I got the bruises or marks, they know I will tell them exactly how I got them, so they've learned not to ask unless they want the real answer. So I guess, people seeing them isn't really an issue for me.

Bruises should be left where they can't be seen.

I knew someone who was into knife and pinwheel play. She had bruises and scratches all over her arms. She blamed it on her cats when asked. Everyone thought she was being abused and some tried to step in on good faith. Let's just say it ended up being a huge disaster.

I like bruises, so long as they are easily hidden.

I'm totally into marks and bruises. I've never had them in really odd areas, mostly just back, thighs, and ass, and the occasional one in random places ...but I also don't mark very easily.

I don't draw attention to mine but I don't go out of my way to hide them either. If it's a huge one that get's noticed and it's with someone who I'm 'real' with and can trust, I'll tell them the truth, if it's not, I'll tell them something more appropriate so as not to make trouble where trouble doesn't need to be made.

"Oh, slammed my knee in the door" is easier to explain to my Grandfather than "Rape play"

Neither of us really cares if we leave a bruise or not, but when we see one it does amuse us;-)
