I typically go for something classical, it adds a certain amount of intrigue to the scene. If not, usually electronica. I don't like words during songs for scenes as they keep me out of the headspace I'm trying to get to. Pandora has good electronica stations.

Try some Enigma... or better yet, Achillea. (Some members are from Enigma)... The CD I use is titled The Nine Worlds.

My guess is that you'll be hooked when you hear it. If I had to describe the "type" of music.... I guess it's a cross between a sort of clasical/New Age.

It's an excellent CD if you are using both a blindfold and headphones. I've personally been put in restraints and had the blindfold and headphones used with this music and it's........ bliss!

I just went all out with this a few weeks ago! I decided to change things up, too, and ended up getting carried away. I picked songs for different types of play such as skin (oil and candle wax), anal, impact play, etc. and I edited some videos together to go with the music/ what I was doing to her. I used everything from classic rock (I managed to use Stairway to Heaven for the impact play) to more things like Amethystium (I used the song Ethereal for our warm up round) to pop songs from people like Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, etc. For the pop songs, I went on Youtube and found remixes rather than using the originals because that way I could set a darker tone or get something with a more electronic feel, and so on.

Great idea: The remixes. I was just thinking about Jirob's "Smack me baby one more time" Which is a mix of Britney Spears and The Prodigy's Smack my bitch up. It's great.

Anyway: the more aggressive songs by the Prodigy might be a good choice.

For more silent moments you may have a look at Apocalyptica's "nothing else matters"

You could try checking out some lounge mixes if you dont really want lyrics - or search some cultural traditional music (i personally lovveee the traditional japanese songs... they kinda make me feel like i'm in some other world heh
