Question: are you looking for tips on bare-handed spanking or more paddling, flogging, cropping, etc.? Biiiiiiiig difference. If you don't know you're fine, just good to know whether you're looking at a specific implement or curious about it all.

Spanking really depends on the receiver and what you're trying to get across. Also depends on what you're using. I'm assuming that you mean spanking, as in, spanking with the hands. In that case, it's best to give a nice rub, maybe tease the person's tush a bit with light strokes. Then, simply go at it. Keep your fingers together and your palm flat. Hitting the middle of the person's ass, where the tush is, may give you nice results, but the best place is right on the flesh, on one of the cheeks.

It's something that you get a feel for over time. Knowing your partner, their pain limits, and what they like is best. Also, knowing what you like to deal is a must, too. I personally am a sadist, so I do not bother with warm-up, generally. I take the "surprise attack" method and just go for it. HA!
