I haven't thought of one yet, but I would choose a random object that wouldn't ever be used during sex normally.

My pet and I use "Poptarts", which is definitely something neither one of us would be likely to use in a scene. Occasionally I'll bring it up as a reminder, or in talking to other people: "No, he's fine, he remembers his pastries." XD

Ours currently is watermelon cuz the thought of randomly shouting watermelon during sex had us both laughing which would end what we were doing

Sounds like it might be a mood killer. But I guess safe words are designed to make the person stop.

Um...you don't have an OTHER column. My safe word is STOP. In ENGLISH. With us, STOP means.....STOP. Period, end of discussion. NO questions about the meaning or context. Never failed us yet.

Mine is RED .
Was ask what I thought of when wanted to stop, pain or if things got to rough. All I could see it red.
But the Dom has to lesson for it to work.

Mine wasn't an option in the survey - I use the "red, yellow, green" system, with red for stop, yellow for slow down/go gentler, and green for yes, keep going please.

We dont have one yet. When it comes time to use one I will have to suggest "banana". If you are a fan of Family Guy you will know why!

I like the red/green/yellow system, it's easy to remember and I like that there's one word to indicate that you're at the edge of your limits but don't want play to stop altogether.

Stoplight system.
"Green" is good to go.
