I enjoy both, but more often than not I'm reaching for the one about kinky sex. Romance novels can be great if there are some good sex scenes mixed in, otherwise I tend to get bored way too fast.

Sex bores me without context. If you could sub in any name for the characters and have nothing change, I find it a major turnoff.

That doesn't mean that I like my stories vanilla- far from it- I just want the porn to be about the characters and how they explore sexuality.
