My owner and I have chatted about this and it was "stop"

It was the first obscure word that came to my head long ago, and well...it makes me giggle everytime I hear it now.

I used to do judo and the habit of tapping out never really left. Two firm taps by me means "You win" or "let me up" and I never have to ask twice. I am submissive by nature though I am a rather good fighter when I need to be for the sake of others. My Lord is quite gentle and he is just starting to get into the bdsm stuff. For him I judge his expressions and aura but he would probably tap out too if he wanted. Speaking wise we do not really speak, we just sort of watch expressions and read each other's auras and that works for us.

i'd like to switch to the color system since that's what's most often used at play parties. For now I say apple. we try to knock on the bed if we're gagged. we don't really end up using it much since we don't do much consensual non-consent, and he checks in with me during impact play. Mostly it gets yelled during (non-fetish) tickle fights

I had a system worked out with my ex, who ignored it the few times I tried to to use it.

With my sub, his word is "shampoo". With my beau, my word is "poodle".

Never had a scene that required one, since my partner and I talk about limits constantly and agree beforehand.

Blueberrymuffin. It's a mouthful, but it gets the point across. Apparently his is Strawberrymuffin, but he's never used it It's more or less been for tickling.

It started as a joke and now it kind of stuck. I'd prefer something shorter because if I can't get the whole word out he covers my mouth so he "can't hear it."

"Red" sounds like one I should go with

Ours is pineapple too! And in case I forget, I'm supposed to yell out any fruit I can think of.

We don't have one.

I've suggested having one, as we're beginning to get into rougher play together beyond what we were doing previously.

He seemed to think it was silly and that we didn't need one. He thought me doing a double tap thing on his shoulder like they apparently do in wrestling (high school type wrestling not hulk hogan type wrestling) was very intuitive and reasonable. As a girl, who does not wrestle, I thought this was stupid. I also am not sure wtf is supposed to happen in situations where my hands are tied together.

*shakes head*

Not comfortable. But I'll fix him.

Oklahoma is our safe word. No idea why. We don't really play hard enough to use it. He's pretty careful with me.

SOS. It's simple, quick to blurt out, and has a clear meaning.

Well, we use the color system also because it's easier for me to remember in certain head spaces. But our safe word is "white rabbit". It's a reference to an old erotica story I wrote once where the safe word was "mad hatter". Catching onto the Alice in Wonderland theme? haha.

We use the color system officially, but 'stop' works just as well for most of the scenes we do

we don't have one although I think they are really useful stop or ouch usually works pretty well, I would like to have a safe word but I feel like it could be kinda funny sounding or weird or ruin the mood because its so rediculous

UGH ive tried to get a safeword specified before.... but we just go with 'ow' as a pretty good reaction to a bad thing and the other listens well... itd be nice to have a little bit of a warning before the ow is hit tho!

thats ow as in ouch not O! as in orgasm lol

Tapioca is ours. I've only had to use it when we've really tried to test limits though.

Usually its some nonsense word. We don't often use one though.
Most of the time we go with the Green Yellow and Red light terms.
Green: this is good, I want more
Yellow: mmm not sure about this, don't go further than here for now
Red: Complete Stop Now!
It's rare I use a safeword or Red though. SirPhryxus and Mistress Fenreya, my only Doms right now, are good about reading my body language and knowing when to slow down without me saying anything.
