If there are marks. I haven't been in that situation, but who knows.

I've seen a lot of advice re: what terms to use, and I think the most easily understood is "rough sex." (And maybe a big goofy smile?)

I'd be likely to avoid mentioning it unless I was at a particularly well-informed clinic. The misconceptions are numerous, and it is exhausting to educate people all the time.

Yeah, pretty much this. If they wanted to know about bruises, I'd be upfront and honest, and if there were no bruises, I would't see a reason to discuss my private sex life with my doctor.
