My current favorite pervertable is a bag of various fur or feather key chains I've acquired over the years: the standard rabbit, a peacock feather, a sheepskin puffball, a lynx-tail key chain I got in Alaska from some traditional craftsmen (use every part; this was one way to use up the tails!), and a mini feather-duster. They're all kinds of fun, and are completely innocuous.

The wax in those Catholic candles you see at some grocery stores melt at a lower temperature than standard candles, so I love them for wax play. I melted the wax down and remade it into four candles so that they were easier to deal with.
Also, a few materials from Home Depot will make a fantastic spreader bar for a very good price.
