RodeoH's are my answer, every time. Easy for beginners but so awesome you'll want to keep using it once you aren't a beginner anymore. Then choose any silicone dildo that suits your fancy and meets your needs.

Tantus curve or tantus bend over kit. Probably best to go with something in the 1" to 1.25" range first. Also, get a nice plug for your partner to wear to loosen things up before you start playing for the first time.
