best 'cock' for beginning pegging

Contributor: gweezer gweezer
My boyfriend hasn't had any experience with anal at-all yet, and im hoping to ease him up to taking my (fake) cock--strapons have always been a HUGE fetish of mine, so iv already roamed around and found the harness and cock for me-now im just looking for one the one taking would be more comfterble with xP

id like a set with different sises, so we can start small and ease him up, it seams to me though, that the booty bumper kit ((link)) actually ISNT the best to start off with because it increases in length NOT width-i think he would me much more comfterble with something like whats in the bend over beginner kit ((link)) but as i said i already have a harness picked out

are there any other sets that he may be interested in that i somehow skimmed over? or possibly just cheeper beginner sises that i can get a selection of?

If he hasn't had experienced with anal, you may not want to get the buz one. I read some of the reviews and they didn't recommend it for beginners.

I started with the tantus compact, which I would *not* recommend for pegging. I wish I had known, it's too short. I'm looking for one to replace it for pegging purposes.

These are the ones that I am considering:

mistress

smooth operator

The Buz is pretty similar to the mistress (in length, diameter, etc) and someone said that the mistress would be good for beginners, so who knows... That's kind of a "personal" opinion since everyone is different.

I just know that while the tantus compact is too small + too flimsy for harness use (for us at least), I'm glad I got it because I think the other ones would have seriously intimated my husband. I asked him if he could "take" a larger and longer one and he raised his eyebrows at me so I'm trying to be careful and pick one that is an upgrade to the compact but not overly large either.

Good luck and have fun!

The Tantus silk toys are often considered anal toys, thanks to their smooth shape. They make a minuscule small, an average-sized medium, and an above-average sized large. They have nice bases, too.

The tantus silk small is about the same length (actually think it's shorter) than the tantus compact. I would not recommend that for harness use.

The medium is longer in length and would be appropriate.

The problem that we had is the length was not long enough to allow for it to be inserted and have lee-way to move in and out comfortably. I found myself having to lean in to keep it in because it was so short.

just to clarify-the buz is for ME, im looking for something else for him

For pegging you want something longer - over 5.5" in usable length. Tantus Silk Small is a good starter hand dildo, but it is too small to use for pegging unless you're very careful and deliberate (which sort of takes the fun out...). Smooth Operator is very similar to the Small Silk in design and width, but it's long enough to be usable in a harness. Since he hasn't had any experience at all with anal it's probably best not to start with pegging, since that adds logistical difficulties and potential psychological baggage to the anal beginner. Start with fingers or a plug, and then he can start to get a feel for how anal activities feel and begin to like them (for many people, anal pleasure does have to be learned, it's not automatic. For other lucky ones it is automatic). You can also figure out about what diameter of toy he's most comfortable with and use that to guide your toy choices. Definitely talk with him about styling, though - it's possible that a realistic or semi-realistic dildo might be a bit too much psychologically for him, and he'd prefer a nonrealistic to start with - or a realistic dildo on you could be a big turn-on for him.

I started with the Raquel with my b/f...totally not realistic and moved on from there. Yes, at least 5.5" insertable is important and yes, start manually prior to moving to a harness. Good luck!!

I wish I had known that. Unfortunately, at least one review for the Tantus Compact said it would work for a harness. That's true, because it fits fine. But it doesn't work because it's not long enough...

I second the idea to start off with a butt plug or finger. Before we started pegging, I had purchased my husband a prostate massager / butt plug. That helped a lot.

I've used the Compact in a harness and had no trouble, but then again, I wasn't necessarily looking for deep penetration.

If you're careful a short dildo will work, but when the partners really get into it it's likely to slip out, especially for pegging where you have 1+ inches of dildo length used to "bridge the gap" in the cleft between the buttocks and the anus.

I had to really be slow and deliberate because of the short length. Never using a short dildo for pegging again - only the longest dongs! I ended up straining my back. Maybe it's because I am petite. Who knows! The Tantus compact is a nice little dildo though, just not for us (for pegging).

ScottA - that makes sense about the 1+ inch lost to "bridge the gap." I thought it was perhaps because I'm smaller than my husband, because I strained my back leaning in so that the dildo wouldn't slip out with every thrust.

Backseat Boohoo - Did you use the harness + dildo for vaginal penetration or pegging? I think that the vaginal penetration might be a different story for this toy, since you are closer to the person.

We use the Vibrating Mistress with the Bend Over Beginner Harness. Really feels good. My wife also likes to masturbate with the Mistress.

Definitely get a strap on dildo that's a bit longer... 7+ inches is preferable because as others have said you need that little extra length in a strap-on setup. Girth wise 1"-1.25" inches is a good starter.

I honestly can't recommend the Silk Medium enough. It's large enough that it feels good in motion, but small enough that I've never required a warm up toy for it. If you can get in two fingers anally, then you shouldn't have any problem with it. It's also pretty soft, which means it can follow your contours really well too. An even better option is to get it as part of the Bend Over Beginner Intermediate kit, so that you can move up to the Silk Large once it's no longer large enough for you.

The anal starters are fairly small and can fit a small O ring harness. They are jelly but the size and concept is perfect for beginners.

The Silk Small is a bit short for pegging, you're much better off trying one that's over 5.5" insertable so you can thrust without worrying about it popping out.

I'm not sure I'd recommend a Feeldoe to start with. They're very stiff and if you don't get the right position they can be uncomfortable. Of course, I've only used the More.

Wow, some great posts here! slynch, how have you found the Mistress?

We've dabbled over the years and ended up getting a Doc Johnson Ultra Harness but the 5" cock we got with it is a little too short but also too thick for us (very tight but very willing hubby, lol) so we're looking for something different now. The Mistress and Vibrating Corsette Harness have just caught our attention

The mistress is a great starter. I really prefer vixen to tantus. The head design on their dildos just goes in easier for me.

I agree, longer is better than thicker.
