If you think you're going to want to use it then look for one that fits well, is comfortable, solid support, and will last. If it's flimsy and uncomfortable then it isn't a good deal no matter how cheap it is.

For the dildo go silicone, and don't bother with Vac-U-Lock or similar - you're limiting yourself way to much with that.

I agree with the other posts. I was nervous and shy myself when I first came to the Eden community. The reviews have been inspiring and have given me the confidence to make purchases. Silicone and VixSkin are the most comfortable. I found that jelly toys irritate my sensitive skin and do not work well with my body's chemistry. Silicone is extremely comfortable and easy to clean. Considering how these toys are used, I want a toy that can be disinfected. Silicone is smooth and not porous, and hooray, you can throw it in the dishwater!

I agree with ScottA, Vac-U-Lock is interesting, but you do limit yourself.
