Clothespins and cheap dollar store 'rope' used to make clotheslines for the most part but when I was much younger (too young to even shop on a site like this) I used to use belts, dead extension cords, scarves, an old air bed I cut into long strips...really whatever I could find that seemed like it would work. I think I even used a bamboo back scratcher as a sort of 'paddle' a few times.

These days I prefer to use good quality rope and items actually meant to be used in such a manner though.

We've always had lots of rope and leather laying around the house. We like to use hair brushes and wooden spoons for spanking and even took a few car antennas and repurposed them to make some wicked canes. Belts are great for a strapping and those decorative wooden spoon shaped paddle type things that grandma used to have hanging in her kitchen make a good paddle. You can pervert just about anything with a great imagination

Ok I may have said this before... But we used video games for a way to be kinky.

We had penalties for losing or winning a round for like Mortal Kombat. If you won you had the other person go down on you for a set amount of time that you set on your watch or clock specifically short enough to not make you cum. And it went on until one of us had an orgasm or we ended up having sex. Kinda miss playing that game... I love Mortal Kombat though

Other than that we were big fans of pillows and places when we didnt have toys. I remember buying my classic car and parking it in her parents garage in the middle of the day and having sex on the hood. Still have that car... Still shine that hood up every once in a while.

Other than that actual toys... back massagers and some veggies did the trick.

Mostly just belts and scarves. I'm a weapons enthusiast, though, and I have been spanked with my wooden training swords.

and I have a letter opener that's a "play knife" (took me forever to figure out how to find something that was pretty but not dangerously sharp)

...when I was younger and slightly stupider I tried to make a bondage kit out of stockings. The cuffs were tied-off hairbands. It didn't secure anything but the effect was kind of fun?
