I know a lot of talented people in the kink scene that make their own toys. I'm not much of a do-it-yourselfer but I have some handmade toys that others have made for me but the rest of them are store bought.

So, do you make your toys or buy them?

There are some quite easy toys:
canes, whips and stuff.

we generally buy them, but we've made a few. we also like buying and then modifying to suit our purpose.

Soft flogger, restraints from leather and strapping, blindfolds, tickler, nipple clamps and a tantra sex chair with restraint eyes. Can restrain in just about any position and is still comfortable for sustained periods of time.

Wwe usually buy them but Wwe also frequently "pervert" non-kinky objects. A favorite in Oour collection is a kitchen spatula in the shape of Mickey Mouse's hand, purchased from Disneyland, no less, which makes a wonderful paddle. A friend owns a much loved shoehorn from Ikea that is a favorite spanking toy of theirs.

Oh, oh, this was fun.

My partner made a ton of stuff out of rope- floggers, dildos, gags, etc; We haven't any yet, as we use rope for other purposes LOL But I mean it's a cool idea.

I've made a few toys of my own. I've made a paddle, a few floggers and a couple of spreader bars.

I either buy them, or repurpose normal items like the detachable strap of my purse. One time I did try to make a collar out of an old belt, but I failed miserably
