Neoprene cuffs with Velcro releases are a good start for light BDSM. They hold pretty well and can be quickly released if somebody gets uncomfortable. While leather with buckles are nice, they're often more expensive and suited better for heavy play. So they'll obviously withstand light play, but they're a bit of an investment.

We also recommend something with Velcro releases that is a soft cuff for beginning your play. After all, you want it to be pleasant. Enjoy.
