My friend's partner made one with his initials engraved on it, which is pretty sweet. She loves being 'branded' with his initials.

I'm working on one now actually, I found a (surprisingly sturdy) paddle shaped wooden luau decoration for a dollar that I'm going to sand smooth and repaint.

I wanted to make a line of three heart shaped cut outs in the middle but I don't have the right tools so I might just paint it black with red hearts and seal it.

I made and easy one. I found a small broom with a nice handle and picked out all the bristles. I sanded and stained the wood and bam...instant paddle.
