I love my flogger. but i'm getting very worried that the wood will get knicks or dings stored over the top of my mirror. i thought of putting a sock or something over it. but i'm worried that it will hurt the leather falls.

i keep my harnesses in a wicker basket, well ventilated, and they are starting to mold. so now i'm worried about this flogger.

Well, I've never heard of harnesses growing mold before. That's definitely a newbie for me. The place you have your flogger is a decent place to store it, and the sock is a good storage technique. As far as I know, it won't hurt the leather falls of your flogger.

I just hang mine and I've had no problems, its well polished so unless it hit a sharp edge of something it shouldnt get dinged up.
