Leather or vegan?

Contributor: Genderfree Genderfree
There are lots of different types of cuffs/BDSM items out there... a lot of the expensive ones are often made out of leather. So I am wondering; if it was in your price range, would you get a leather item, or a comparable quality vegan item?

Is this an ethical reason, or is there another reason behind it?

Personally i try to go for good quality vegan items. Although i do not have a vegan diet, i do my best to buy only non-animal tested/cruelty free products, which includes hair, body and face wash as well as lubes. I also do my best to stay away from companies who partake in animal testing (although that becomes very hard to do). The only time i indulge in products that are made form animals (like leather) it is something thrifted/vintage that is gifted/given to me.

Real leather. You're not saving any cows buying vegan. >.> May as well put the skins to use rather than throw them out.

Preferably vegan because cruelty is, well, cruel.

Always vegan. Animal skins aren't mine to use, they belong to the animal!
