Depends who's using it on you. If you have a partner who can go light, no. It can be more of a sensational play than actual pain if used lightly.

It really depends on the Dom/Domme. It can be used lightly as well as pretty rough. This isn't the most intense whip, in my opinion.

I always thought that a whip such as this is great for dragging softly and teasingly over the skin of your partner for sensory play but then kinda the kinky shock of getting whipped with it, however hard or soft is desired.
