Locking collars, definitely. If I'm playing with someone who has a collar on, I want to be able to yank on it pretty hard/drag them around by it without it falling off!

I so want that locking collar. I've had it on my wishlist for so long, but the thing that holds me back from getting it is - I want a Master to buy me a collar. Otherwise it doesn't mean much to me.
But so want it! Love the locking feature.

Snapping are only good as a fashion accessory, for me - we play too hard, it'd come unsnapped if we were using it for any... "Activities."

Do you want it for casual, aesthetic use or for actual bedroom use? If it's for use, I'd go with the buckling collar. If it's for looks, I'd still go with the buckling collar, because usable gear is much more exciting to look at for me.

Yup, buckles all the way for play. The act itself of buckling it on is intoxicating, and then being able to grab them by the collar makes it that much hotter.

When I see a collar with snaps I automatically think "costume collar"

Buckles, unless you're just getting it to wear it around like a necklace.
I don't care for snaps or velcro on things I use for actual bondage.
It's far too easy to get really into the scene as a sub and suddenly pop the snap or unstick the velco.
...and that's no fun at all ;3

Buckling, only, I wear one 24/7 and snapping collars would be annoying, I NEVER want it off, and buckles are also way more beautiful, you can lock em too if you wish to, more unique beauties, and just simply, who would wanna use a snapping collar for a collar's intended purpose, unless it is only to show off? ^^
