This flogger has been on my wishlist for a while now. While I have a high tolerance of pain I know this is one I may have to work up to so I have been waiting on getting it.

As a beginner, I wouldn't. Especially if you don't have a high pain tolerance yet. Build that up first and then get it. You don't want to use it, have it hurt you, and turn you off of it! :]

I have this. Of course, I'm not a person who is new to floggers, so it's just fine. But in terms of pain tolerance, I would say to not get it if you're just starting out with impact play. It can break skin, which might turn people off of impact play if it's the first thing that they know.
