I've got a play date with an old friend coming up this week. I'm in the dom role and I'd like to do something that prevents him from getting an erection (until I say he can, of course). I've been looking at all the cock/ball devices and I really don't know where to begin. How effective are they are preventing an erection? I don't want to start with metal because of the safety concerns and I'm trying to do this on the cheap. Should I just wrap his cock up with pvc tape? How safe is that? You might be able to use PVC tape since it only sticks to itself, so it wouldn't kill him taking it off. Be careful how much blood flow you cut off to parts of his penis for how long because I'm sure you don't want to cause any permanent damage.

Yes, classic metal chastity devices will definitely do this, but again, are an investment. Eden actually has a few items like this in the bondage section- I might try something like this one. Adjustable, so it's easier to get off if necessary.
I'm sure there are some rope bondage things you could try to, btu if you don't know what you're doing with rope that's probably not the best time to learn (or area to learn on).
