Also, how many new accounts are created daily?

And I think the offer for a BB/BS should be offered to current members as well. I think there are a lot who would still appreciate this program.
Agreed.

Gary, any idea what percentage of new accounts actually become reviewers?
Not off the top of my head, but I am sure that a lot of people never really get a chance to familiarize themselves. It is hard for me, and a lot of us to see the site with fresh eyes. We expand, grown new programs, add new options and community features, and for those of us who have been around for a while - we have all had a chance to slowly evolve with the community. So now that more is going on than ever before, I worry that it can be a little intimidating or confusing.

One of the most helpful things I could use, is maybe some critique from you newer members; feedback on your sign-up process and how you initially figured things out.

I think you should keep it. That way I can tell you apart from the others who use that avatar.

There are going to be a lot of envious people over at the St. Pat's party. Green with envy, I dare say.

I agree. There are a lot of people who don't necessarily want to review that get pushed into the mentor program because of the ability for the one on one. This could be a great solution to that

All you have to do is ask. There are a lot of folks here who would be more than happy to answer questions if you send them a message too, myself included

EF was confusing 6 months ago when I joined and the community has grown exponentially since then.

I've been here for 2.5 months, and I'm still learning things every day.

Good idea, even being away from the site for a few month can get you way behind with all the new stuff thats always being added.

I think we joined about the same time! It's amazing what's happened here in the very short time I've been here.

And honestly, can't wait to see what's next, it's truly an honor to be a part of it.

Not in a rude way, but even 1-2 months around here isn't always enough time to ... more
Well for this program I am thinking (right now at least), that even the most basic knowledge of the community could help point someone in the right direction. I think we are starting to see some people joining just to attend the discussion, some people want to review toys, some people want to interact on the forums, etc. I don't think a lot of experience would really be necessary to help someone complete their account and figure out the basics.

(I am not ruling out any limitations either, I am just letting you know what I am thinking here)

They just need to stick with it and explore, the more they are on it the more they'll learn. Like me.

Oh, definitely. I was gone for maybe six months last year, I think, and I came back to an almost completely different place!

Same here, although perhaps there is some groundswell for that.

Actually, I think we showed up for the same first meeting, Alys.

This so true. I often forget that I have been here for a year now. For the most part I had to figure things out for myself. I bet it is very overwhelming for new comers.

Agreed! I have been on and off the site for about months too. It is truly amazing!

I know it is common for online communities to be kind of cliquey, but really everyone is welcome here, and everyone should feel welcome! That is what we are striving for!

Alys and I were having the exact same conversation today about our clubs. We're going to be working on recruiting people for the clubs one by one rather than hoping they get involved.
