As of right now, we can't get that specific with the stickies. I mean I might be able to get creative and have it listed as an event way out in the future so that it shows up as a future event and is right at the top underneath the calendar, but that'd be about it for actual subcategories.

Lol, my hair is dry in about 15 minutes, maybe 20.

Ah, I'm just afraid that too many stickies will clutter the front page.

Is there a way to get a banner above the threads that stay on each folder. And it could be a clickable one that links you to an info post so no matter if it gets cluttered in that section they can click and bring it up?

We add and remove as necessary. If there were too many stickies in the announcements section, we can always remove another one.

Sounds good. Might include a link to the Host so they could ask for more info???

What about just a banner at the top too? Clicking on that banner could bring you to the info thread too!

Maybe we could also link to the individual club summaries in the emails announcing meetings?

Oh I know whats been bugging me that I just remembered now. I wish the club blogs werent hidden on another page and maybe in a different section in the cafe. I didnt even know the club blogs existed till maybe a month or so ago.

The whole post would be chocked full of links

I think that would help for sure. Would we have to contact each host to have them write up an info thread?

There are actually 3 different blog sites: Eden Cafe, the club blogs, and there's an EF blog.

All the clubs have a icon/avatar (whatever you call it), maybe that could be put on the side bar and be a clickable link to the info thread?

Maybe. I'll ask around and see if that's something we could do as well.

See I didnt know there was 3! I wish they were all sectioned under one page just with different tabs or what not. I think it would bring more traffic to them.

I don't think so. I could probably get a post written up fairly quickly and get it posted, then we'd just have to make the banner and have it added to the rotation.

The EF blog at this point is mostly for hosting; pictures, tutorials, other images, etc. The big ones for the public are the Cafe and the Clubs blog.

It could be used for a lot more though, especially more tutorials. It's a shame it isn't used more.

I feel like this particular meeting has turned really proactive and were figuring out things to try. Im digging it.

JR use to have some great tutorials, we could use more of them.

I agree with that. I think also a lot of tutorials got lost in the forums too. I know I saw a bunch a while back but they're hard to find now.

What kinds of tutorials would you like to see?

Unfortunately all of the links are broken from when he first posted them. I'm sure most people have no idea how to locate them now.

I'd have to look and see what JR already did, but I think the bigger issue is getting people to know they exist. As it is, no one even knows about the blog let alone that there are tutorials.

I had no idea the links were broken. I'll also try to dig around and round them up into one spot if I can.

I'm thinking another stickied post for tutorials?

Just off the top of my head

How to use the search option
How to post pictures in threads and reviews. (Although the threads are pretty good for this)
How to use the comparison option and post a link to it.

That would be good, because they aren't really well organized on the blog. A sticky thread with a sort of FAQ format and a link to the tutorial would be great I think.

Yeah, for some reason they were moved awhile back so all of his links no longer work.
