In case you haven't already done so, make sure to cast your vote for what magazines we should send to the troops through Eden Gives Back!

I posted a message but I am not all that great at stuff like that. I ust figured it would get the folks thinking and hopefully some wordsmith would come up with something more appropriate.

I admit that I'm not that great of a wordsmith either when it comes to stuff like this, so I've been wracking my brain and thinking of nothing.

Trust me, the best thing like that come from the heart, not from the head.
The troops know honesty and warmth. They would rather have someone tell it like it is, and how they feel, than have someone that makes a flowery speech that is just talk.

Even if all I can come up with is "thank you for your service and dedication"?

As long as it is heartfelt, it is better than you could possibly believe.

I hear ya, I just have a hard time writing what is in my head when it comes to things like this. If they were standing in front of me, it would be totally different.

So, does anybody have anything else? This looks like it was a pretty laid back meeting, but if there's anything anybody wants to talk about in the future, you can always email me.

That about does it for me---I've got to start packing. What do you guys think first---clothes first, sex toys first, or books first?

The obvious answer then is to pretend they are standing right there in front of you and write what you would like to say. It isn't easy, but it might work.

Layer of books in the bottom, sex toys in the middle, clothes on top.

Toys first, if you do anything else you may not have room for toys. lol

Delicate things first (toys). Then if you get tired or crunched on time, you can always just throw the rest into boxes.

Haha---cars aren't linear I don't have much, I've been pretty much living out of a suitcase (+ sex toy backpacks, + book backpacks) since May.

But, to answer Oldhippy's question---probably the sex toys! I already have clothes and books at my destination.

Clothes last because what if you need something to wear from those.
