Show your work!

I decided that I wanted to make these last night, so I ran to the store, grabbed some felt and stuffing and got to work. It's the first time I've ever done anything like this.

Blooood. My biggest problem with horror movies is that the blood when supposedly dry is never brown like this, how it drys naturally. I love your leaves with them.

Thought you guys would be curious what I normally do for work. Its art but a little less traditional, takes a little bit of everything---sculpting , painting, molding, everything. Heres an example of the stuff I make.

From start to finish, elfen lied helmet.

Sculpture over a full head life cast.

Silicone brush up mold. I dont have a photo of the fiberglass shell on this after, but its not too interesting to be honest.

Fiberglass painted copy.

I line the inside of them with foam and fabric so its really clean looking and padded.

In a perfect world where I had more start up cash, Id just make stuff for cosplayers---very high quality stuff.

So...epic. <3 Perhaps start with making cosplay/LARP weapons? Just modify toy weaponry and look about for things that catch your eyes. I went to a con yesterday and someone was carrying around this huge gas/panzer looking gun....it was made out of toilet pluming parts. Make money off that, then make big bucks off of the epicness like that. ;]

Thanks. We do that for spaceships and such (my boyfriend and I), its called kit bashing. Its a lot of fun but messy as hell, we pull everything out of the garbage we think we can salvage. We just brought in 500 vhs tapes this month to rip apart for a full scale space ship interior. Lol. There is potential in everything, one mans trash you know.

Right now I do freelance and sell the stuff I make online. But I went to school for special effects makeup. So makeup, prop making, everything movie oriented. My boyfriend works on big movies at shops, and I do low budget and my own thing because I can mostly stay home and hold down the fort. I prefer working at home in my pajamas, I dunno why. Like I said above I want to start selling more stuff for high quality cosplayers and nerds alike. Ive gotten 300 a pop for the above helmet, so if I put time into making more and more I know ill get a return, its just so tedious.

This is the very first tattoo I ever did. It is not finished, but he was suppose to be pink and lighter pink, but the lighter pink fell out. I wanted green, but green does not stay well in my skin.

I love the frog!
Any way you could try stippling light blue and yellow to make it appear green? Not sure how it works with tattoos, but the dots work in other media.

I don't see anything... not even a little "this picture didn't work" box, or even a gap. The post frame box just fits around your words.
