I never use box mixes as it is just as easy, with better results, to bake from scratch.

The baking powder is a box mix is never top quality and it affects the crumb.

I usually make them from scratch, but then my mom taught me this super easy, super moist homemade chocolate cake recipe that is almost as fast as a box cake!!

I've actually never made a cake from a box. Only from scratch.

I was just talking about this in the grocery store with my neighbor today. I always prefer to make cookies from scratch. I do like to eat pre-made cookie dough raw, although I rarely buy it and prefer cookies from scratch. I've never made cookies from a mix. Cakes, brownies, and muffins I use a mix for.
