I try to make a list every time. Otherwise I forget things! I keep a list on my phone when I notice I'm running low on things. The few times I shop without a list, I spend WAY more than I intend to and end up coming home with random items (Like 5 lbs of pork tenderloin and 4 pints of ice cream...guilty. )

Yeah, I am a list maker, so I always make a list of what I need, coupled with things I want to pick up while the store has the item on sale. Whenever I try to shop without a list, I just wander hopelessly and rarely have a clue what I need...until I am three people deep in the checkout line, anyhow.

Since I am on a budget, I make a list of all the essentials that I need....If I happen to find something that isn't on the list but is cheap and we will use it then I will buy it.

I need a list or two. Usually, I have one list that has everything I'm buying ingredients for that I can make later in the week. I'm forgetful. It'll be like Wednesday and I'm in the kitchen going "uhhhmm I know I bought stuff for something!"
I also have a list of things to get. This one is used throughout the week. If you use the last of something and you want more of it, it better be on that list. This also helps while I'm at the store. For some reason, grocery shopping always makes me hungry but if it's not on the list, I don't buy it. There are some exceptions to that but we're on a budget.

I make a list, because we try a lot of new recipes and i don't want to forget stuff. Also, running into a store for something I forgot with two little ones is not a simple thing.

I'd be utterly lost without a list. If I'm in a hurry (which is usually), I just stick to it and I can be in and out in 15 minutes with a whole week's worth of stuff. If I have a little more time, I'll usually grab some extra stuff.

Oh I always have to make a list, but it only works if I remember to bring it with me.If I forget it, then I have to try to wing it and hope that I can remember everything that was on that list. The nearest grocery store is 13 miles way.

I am famous for making said list and forgetting it so now I make it in the note section on my phone. I can't leave without my phone so I don't forget the list and I am also able to delete items as they go in the buggy
