Oh I love making those, it is just fun to make so many.

So there we have it! One of the most handy recipes I know!

Is everybody ready for the $25 GC contests?

EF is generously offering one $25 gift card for answering a trivia question from information I've offered up during this meeting, and another for being the first to identify the lesser-known kitchen implement from a series of pictures I show you.

I was told orange is the color of insanity by my art teacher. I dunno have no reason to not believe them it was when we were learning about complementary colors.

I do but they ooze too much and turn out lopsided.. Probably wouldn't happen if people would get out of my kitchen. I feel like looking for something to squeeze out a perfect blob.

Well, I've never heard a happy person sing about having "the oranges", so my argument isn't terribly well supported.

Hrmmm... is your pan level? You can always try doing one at a time, like I had to resort to for this batch on my cast iron griddle.

Sure do. It is what I make for myself and the kids. The wife like big ones so I make hers first, we have a small griddle, and them make ours. I really like them to make sandwiches with. Some bacon, cheese and a basted egg just can;t be beat. I make extra just so I can have leftovers. lol

The perfect pancake scoop is an icecream scoop.

I just use my half cup measuring cup to scoop out enough mix to make them and they turn out pretty much the same in size.

I believe so, we don't have a nice griddle just one of the cheaper Hamilton Beach ones.

letting the field lie fallow (with no plant growth at all, usually with the surface of the soil open for quick rain absorption and cloddy to prevent wind erosion) is the best management practice.

I have one I got for $11 at JCPenny... it's... not perfect. But it seemed to work after I gave it time to get hot.
