Wow everyone, it's been a really great meeting! I'm really loving running this club, and I hope you're loving being a part of it. If you're a big fan of cooking, maybe you've been looking for extra ways to get involved. Luckily, I've got two big plans on the horizon---

1. Are you aware we have a club blog? Did you know we're hosting a series on 'making condiments that most folks buy in the store'?

If you have a recipe to make your own ketchup or mustard or barbeque sauce, or any other condiment, send me a message and we'll see about getting an article posted---by you!"

If you don't have your own recipes yet but you're curious, come check out the blog!

2. Would you like to help write an Eden Cooks cookbook? We're still in the brainstorming stages for this---would you like to see a book that focuses on desserts? Or on main courses? A grab-bag? Do you have a recipe you know you'd like to contribute?

And I'm very open to new suggestions, too. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Well everybody, Thank you all so much for coming! I look forward to hearing how you've made English muffins or a corn chowder---or any other chowder or baked goods! If you make something inspired by this meeting, I'd love you to add a picture to this thread, or just tell us the story of what you made and what your diners though.

See you all in the Iron Chefs thread, and again at next month's meeting, if not before! (You all can stop in and ask questions any time.)

It's pretty basic, but would you be interested in mustard? It's one of those things people always pay through the nose for (hello $17 a bottle) but is stupid-easy to make at home and better for it.

As for a cookbook, I'd be onboard! I'd like to see something that covers a bit of everything.

I would really love a mustard recipe---I don't have one that has won my heart yet.

I think an 'everything' cookbook sounds good, too

Okay. For me I just do a basic rendition, but the great thing is that you can do a million things with it. Switch over to a beer base, add lavendar, age it so that it's mellow, etc etc etc.
