And while we're going over ingredients, the Lemon Zest Cookies only take two that you don't already have out.

Lemon Zest Sandwich Cookies
0.5 cup (one stick) butter, warmed to room temperature
0.5 cup powdered sugar
zest of one lemon
0.5 tsp salt
1 cup all purpose flour

For the filling:
Raspberry Jam

For the Icing;
0.25 cup powdered sugar
juice of half to one lemon (depending on size and juiciness)
zest of part of one lemon, minced a little bit

And for the Sidecar so the rest of your juice doesn't go to waste:
2 parts Brandy (2oz)
1 part orange liqueur (like , Cointreau, or Grand Mariner) (1oz)
1 part lemon juice (1oz)
ice
lemon twist

That is usually what I drink. I bought a bottle of Mango Strawberry Arbor Mist. It's the first white wine I've liked.

Sadly, though I'm running the contest, I have never actually made one myself.
I've made a gingerbread house completely from scratch (except the candy I decorated it with) based on Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There. It was made on a chess board with a mirror window and gum drops on the board to represent chess pieces and had trees made from gum drops with toothpicks through them. The Shingles were made with gingerbread people shaped marshmallows. And the roof was lined with licorice. It was so fun!

Do you like it? If so, I may try it. I'm a red wine girl myself.

Oh! Good question. This is a half-batch, so only 8 small ones. Definitely double the recipe if you want extras to serve!

(I was just making half-batches so I didn't take in too many calories while testing recipes for you all )
