We're due for a cool-down. A couple of rounds of thunderstorms have already passed through today on the front edge of a cooler air system. I can't wait because no AC makes sleeping hard when it's so hot an humid.

We had a one-two punch of a hot front and a cold front, I'm all bundled up in blankets and I'd take some whiskey before a beer today.

We had a beautiful, sunny 70 degree day today. It was great. It will be like that this weekend as well when the family and I attend this.

Oh I know! The last few nights were terrible! My sister called me from NH today to thank me for sending the storms her way. She was half sarcastic because she had been looking forward to going to the beach today but she was happy to get some relief from the heat too.

There are beer festivals in Portland probably about every other week. Just outside of town is a major wine-making area, and they have festivals about every month. It's a great place to live.

Definitely sounds like it!

I lived in an opportunity-rich city for a few years, but I was always so busy with school that I only made it to a fraction of the interesting things I wanted to.

Got a few really great bike races in, though.

Oooh that looks like fun. Its been running about 105 here and it is like breathing in air from a blow dryer. We took all of the kids to a waterpark and almost died out there the other day ugh! A beer festival would have been great!!!

Its the food thing. I looooveee food. Was rushing back from the grocery store without my watch or phone a little while ago and thought that I was late lol!
