*sighs* Boiled Dinners. I tend to make such a mess because not only do I make the supper, but I get everything together, and I bake a apple pie normally. My husband and I spend the next three days cleaning my mess.

Crepes? I just made some yesterday... crepe cake!! chicken crepes and sweet cream filling, for the birthday dog!
Oddly enough with all the adventurous cooking that I do, hard as in can't do it would be mashed potatoes. LOL!!! Hard as in lots of work would be filled handmade pastas; making several kinds for a progression.

Any homemade dough, bread or pizza, that requires kneading. I end up with flour EVERYWHERE.

Cookies because of the flour and sticky dough and never quite getting them right sometimes.

I'd say sandwich bread, but it's not actually that hard once you get the hang of it. It's more the time involved.

My old fashioned caramels....takes 5 hours of stirring and watching them---soooo worth it afterwards, though!!!

Just....homemade bread in general. Dough sticking everywhere and when it's finally done it's gone in like 10 seconds because it's SO FRICKIN' GOOD.

Brisket! It isn't actually hard to make it, but it's time consuming and expensive. A good cut of meat can cost upwards of $50, and it can take all day to cook it!

Homemade peppermint patties? It takes forever to make the filling and them hand dip them all, but they are so good afterwards!
