Howdy and welcome to the June meeting of Eden DIY. This club is for everyone and all you have to do is show up right here in this thread to be part of the club.

This month I will show y’all how to make a simple wood box that can be used for toy storage or anything else for that matter. What makes this great is that even if you do not have a saw you can still make this box. All that is needed is a small hammer, some finish nails, a screw driver, hinges, latch (can be a locking one if you wish) and a handle.

After my poll on the finish, the majority of folks asked for a stain to be used as a finish so I’ll be showing how to do that. I plan on including some guidelines for painting as well.

Glad to see the excitement everyone. I figured this would be a good one to do seeing as everyone could use more storage. Even better is how easy they can be to make.

Everything will be right here for you and everyone else. One of the great things about having the meetings here in the forums is that they will always be here for folks to see.

I also monitor all my work shops and club meetings, so if you ever have any questions just post them and I'll get back to you.

coooool - looks like on your list of supplies however you missed one big part - the material to make the box with !

You will also need a 1" X 6" board at least 55" long
