I agree, I know I don't have the tools to make one from scratch (but it would be cool if I did). I can however find materials or something to modify. Perhaps we should have a list of what we might need beforehand?

Duly noted. I was thinking about a drywall patch meeting so maybe I could just add that.

I currently have 3 different tiles on my shower walls. I'm a renter.. So I don't think it would be too hard.

Well I am thinking of something simple, everything could be cut at a Home Depot or Lowes and then all that is needed is a small hammer, some nails, a handle/latch and some hinges.
That would be a good idea. We don't have much in means of tools at our apartment.

Beads, glitter, pink velvet, and a matching pink lampshade! It was hilarious.
There should be an Eden contest for this or just wait and see if they do something like the toy costume contest of last Halloween.

Woah, almost missed this! I'd personally like to make my own box, but modding a box might be less time-consuming than making trips to the store for various things. Hmm!

Are we talking about making a chest type box? You can find kits at craft stores for those. Wood ones. All you need is the tools.

Also, fixing a leaky faucet might be a good topic. I know I've got plenty of them...

So while we wait for everyone, I would love to hear some ideas about meeting topics. I have a few planned but it would be great to hear what y'all want to do. They can simple like tonight's topic or more involved like a toy box that may take ... more
I would love an organizer that stores toys but also makes it easy to sort. Right not my toys are in cases but I have to pull them out to find what I want each time.

Ooo me too. My kitchen faucet has been driving me nuts for a year now. We just got a new superintendent though, cross fingers he's not as lazy as the last one.

So, let’s look at a great way to recycle an empty bottle that has a pump top. I love my Maximus lube, aside from it being a great lube; it has a wonderful closable top. This makes it great for use with other liquids like massage oils or toy cleaners. Plus it only takes one hand to dispense.

I am sure most will know this but all you have to do is wash it out with warm water. Simply rinse out the bottle and the pump. The pump is easy to do, just fill the cleaned bottle with warm water, screw the top on and pump it a few times to clean it. You can also use a bowl of warm water too. If you are planning to use water based lube you could skip this. But it could be that lube that was in there did not work for you for one reason or another so cleaning it out will be a good idea.

The hammer may be the oldest tool for which definite evidence exists. Stone hammers are known which are dated to 2,600,000 BC when various shaped stones were used to strike wood, bone, or other stones to break them apart and shape them.
